Willard (Bill) Nisson
Bill founded Permaplate in 1978. After successfully modeling his business plan in his senior marketing class at the Utah State University, he received venture capital support from Blaine Huntsman. Over the past 34 years Bill Nisson has developed a strong management team to execute his vision of quality automotive ancillary Finance and Insurance products and world class customer support and service.
John Nisson is responsible for overall business functions by maintaining awareness of competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments, as well as, formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of the business. John graduated from the University of San Diego with a BA/BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering in 2007 and worked for Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) in the Manufacturing Leadership Program and as a Manufacturing Engineer.
VICE PRESIDENT –
After completing her studies stateside and abroad, Karen Johnson joined the Permaplate team in 1980. She has supported all major departments within the organization and through her leadership and management has been instrumental in Permaplate’s growth. Karen continues her role as the backbone and moral compass of the organization as the Vice President of Permaplate.
V. P. OF OPERATIONS –
Bret Milne is responsible for the organization’s North American supply chain, customer service, and claims processing operations. Bret brings over 25 years of experience in management, operations, strategic planning, and business development to PermaPlate, with over 18 of those years in the customer service contact center industry. Prior to joining PermaPlate, Bret held the position of VP of Operations with StarTek (NYSE: SRT), a leading business process outsourcing company providing global customer care, billing, back office, and technical support solutions to several Fortune 500 companies.
National Sales Director –
Andy joined the Permaplate team in 2005. Prior to joining Permaplate, Andy developed first-hand working knowledge of dealership processes by being a sale representative for a large automotive retailer in Arizona. Andy’s exceptional training skills and inside knowledge of automobile dealerships have been instrumental in growing multiple key markets and providing top-notch service to Permaplate’s national accounts and agent network.
